Christian has over 15 years experiences in various managerial positions in sales and marketing, mainly in family-held companies. He has managed complex projects and customer relations across industry sectors such as mechanical engineering, drive technology, renewable energy and basic industries such as metal, cement and paper. Christian co-heads our Engineering & Manufacturing team and works across various other industry sectors. He has worked for companies based in Germany, Finland, and China, operating on a global scale and navigating various cultural landscapes. Christian is a German native speaker with fluency in English and part of our Essen office.

Pieter is a seasoned partner with a diverse background in entrepreneurial, advisory and senior management roles. His management career trajectory is marked by positions in the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector at SGS in Hamburg, New York and Jakarta and Chairman of the Managing Board at the Holding for the subsidiaries of RWTÜV. With over two decades of M&A expertise, Pieter has orchestrated numerous transactions across various industries. He leads our Services Team and is also active in all kinds of engineering, manufacturing and basic industries. Pieter has also developed specific expertise in finding entrepreneurial executives and MBI candidates for private equity firms and other investors. His multilingual proficiency in German, English, Dutch, and Spanish enables him to navigate seamlessly across diverse business landscapes, fostering effective communication and collaboration across international ventures. Pieter is part of our Duesseldorf team.

Manfred is a seasoned partner with more than 30 years experiences in senior executive positions in major international corporations and as a CEO of family-held businesses with up to 300 Mio. EUR revenues. His breadth of experiences covers engineering, building material, basic and consumer goods industries. As an executive and M&A advisor Manfred managed numerous complex transactions, including a thorough preparation and implementation. He is an active member in various S&P industry groups: Engineering & Manufacturing, Basic Industries, Consumer Goods and Construction. Manfred is a German native speaker with fluency in English and part of our Düsseldorf office.

Tim joined S&P as a partner in 2006. He has extensive transaction experience in the Chemicals, Retail, Pharmaceuticals and in the Tourism industries. Prior to joining S&P, Tim held C-Level positions with Didier-Werke, Dynamit Nobel AG, Gerresheimer Glas AG, Spar Handels AG and management positions in the BASF group and in Tchibo Holding AG.

Tim holds a MBA from the University of Cologne and is fluent in English, French and Spanish.

Christian has more than 15 years of experience as CEO, COO and Head of Operations. He was responsible for internationally acting companies in mechanical engineering with a turnover between 150 mEUR to >7 bn EUR having worked for renown German groups with a family ownership background as Trumpf, Schmitz Cargobull, Bosch, ZF and VOSS. During his career he implemented various complex business concepts and strategies, including M&A transactions in multinational environments. Christian has developed to be an expert in all types of engineering industries, alternative energy sectors and innovative sustainable construction concepts. His mixed academic background in engineering and business administration at renown universities helps him to always take a 360-degree view on complex situations. He has worked and studied across Europe (RWTH Aachen, St. Gallen), the US (UC Berkely, UI Indianapolis), Southern America (UBA Buenos Aires) and Asia (Kitakyushu), speaks several languages and is part of our Düsseldorf team.

Dr Thomas Rosendahl has over 25 years of leadership experience in marketing, digital innovation and technology. His strategic insights into digital transformation have been honed in European and American markets, establishing him as a critical asset for clients navigating the rapidly evolving digital economy.

His distinguished career includes a significant tenure as Chief Marketing Officer at cleverbridge AG, where he led the company to a substantial private equity exit. Earlier positions at Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile USA, as well as an early role at Gildemeister AG, have given him a deep understanding of industry dynamics and strategic expertise.

With a doctoral degree in business administration, Thomas' academic qualifications complement his practical knowledge. In addition, his command of several languages, including German, English, Swedish and Ukrainian, supports his international engagements.

Based in Düsseldorf and leading the Internet, Software & Technology group, Thomas is a trusted advisor to clients involved in mergers and acquisitions. His approach is comprehensive, culturally sensitive and finely tuned to market fluctuations.

Markus provides more than three decades of extensive experience across basic, engineering, and construction industries. His diverse background encompasses substantial B2B expertise gained from leadership roles within globally operating German/Rütgers Chemicals AG, Norwegian/Elkem ASA, and US corporations/Koppers Inc.. Furthermore, he also worked in entrepreneurial situations, providing guidance as a senior advisor to emerging companies/Keliber Oy and managing family businesses/Hydrostar Meßtechnik GmbH as a CEO. Throughout his career, Markus has spearheaded the conception and execution of market and business strategies, and orchestrated complex M&A transactions. Markus heads our Basic Industries and Construction & Real Estate teams. He is also an active member in the S&P Engineering & Manufacturing practice. He is competent in German, English, Spanish, and French, and is part of our Essen office.

Christian has more than 35 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment management and M&A. The last 10 years, Christian led the M&A departments for market leading and family owned automotive and rail systems suppliers in the DACH region (Knorr-Bremse AG, Miba AG). During the prior 15 years, he acquired energy and environmental technology companies for a US private equity firm and was senior investment manager in a German venture capital fund. Before that, he held a senior position in the corporate development department of Deutsche Bank AG, was project leader at Bain & Co. in Munich and Zurich, and an investment manager and institutional sales executive for leading private banks in New York, Paris and Cologne. Immediately after graduation he completed a one year industry training program in Argentina. Christian graduated from LMU in Munich as Master in Business Administration and holds an MBA from IMD, Lausanne. Christian is part of the Munich office and head of the automotive and mobility group.

Peter has been a financial manager, advisor to family companies and entrepreneur for over 25 years. He has run numerous M&A, carve-out, integration and transformation projects in industries like telecommunications with companies like Nokia and Saudi Telecom, electrical engineering with Siemens, software and IT with TechMahindra and in the energy sector. One of Peter's main areas of focus is Southern German and Austrian SMEs. Here, he works closely with businesses on issues such as corporate succession and other strategic challenges. He's the organizer of various renowned SME formats, like the official Award for High-Performing Southern German Family Companies. He actively contributes to the development of innovative medium-sized companies in Germany. Peter's not just a local promoter of entrepreneurship. He's got a truly global perspective. His international focus is on India and the countries of the Arabian Peninsula, where he's gained lots of experience in consulting and implementing corporate strategies. Peter is part of our Munich team.

Axel has more than 25 years of experience as CEO, entrepreneur, M&A and McKinsey strategy consultant. In CEO positions he led various entrepreneurial companies with up to 400 Mio. EUR, belonging to family-held groups such as Bertelsmann as well as renown Private Equity firms. Axel has managed many successful M&A transactions as well as growth & transformation projects across industry sectors such as media, e-commerce, software, consumer goods and real estate. He leads our Consumer & Retail and Internet, Software & Technology groups and is also active across other industries. Axel has worked across Western and Eastern Europe and speaks five European languages. He is part of our Munich team.

Wolfgang established S&P in 1989 and ever since has managed or participated in more than 100 successful M&A deals across all industries. He is also one of the three initiators of the leading global network M&A Worldwide in 2004. Before establishing S&P, he held various CEO and Executive Board Member positions for international corporates and family-held companies in the steel and other basic industries. Wolfgang supports the S&P partner group with his invaluable experience in managing complex M&A deals across industries. He is also a personal advisor to various mid-sized companies, family offices and private equity firms. Wolfgang is a German native speaker with fluency in English and French and part of our Essen office.
